Tuesday 30 March 2004 5:08:19 am Hi there, i really want to install Exponential on my UNIX server, I uploaded the package and opened in my browser the Wizard Installation, when I come to the MySQL Configuration part I enter the required information. Since my database is not hosted on the same server, I have to enter the full server address, username and password. My problem is, I already have a database with the name db85999326 on it, which I can not change. All I can do is create table within it and it is fixed to that database name, but when I enter the valid MySQL information the Wizard keeps turning back to the SQL configuration screen. I did a search on the forums about this topic and nothing really sounded like my problem. I hope you guys can help me. Marc
Björn X	Friday 02 April 2004 7:20:34 am You can always go for a manual setup, if the installer doesn't work for some reason. But to me it seems more like you have a connection problem. Try to turn on the debug mode while using the installer. it will give you some more valuable information

You can always go for a manual setup, if the installer doesn't work for some reason.

But to me it seems more like you have a connection problem.

Try to turn on the debug mode while using the installer. it will give you some more valuable information
