I'm new to eZ publisher but wont it very much to be use for our online Newspapir "Næringsliv". I used normal installation. Unpacked zip archive and copy it via ftp to the server.
Should I apply some permision to files? what permission and to what files?
When I try to access www.../index.php it takes long time to show up first page. After some time page appers and I have option to (finetune) or click (next).
In summary info it stands: System OK Then it takes even more time and I get server error:"The page cannot be displayed"
What should I do? Are there any *.ini files I should modify? I have read throught many previous post, but didn't find help to this problem If you can help, it will be very niceThanks

Hi Kris,
Something is obviously wrong. With this kind of hardware specs you should be able to run Exponential without problems.
In the file settings/site.ini try turning on DebugOutput.
[DebugSettings] DebugOutput=enabled
Now reload the page and you should get a table with time accumulators at the bottom of the page. Check this table to see if something is taking too much time.
Regarding permissions, the apache user must be able to atleast read all the files. You'll get more info on permissions during the setup, once you get it running :)
