Piotr Dziekanski	Monday 05 July 2010 2:54:28 pm Sorry to bother, but the manuals and the forum did not help me solve this problem and I see that others also have it. After installing Exponential and working on it for few days, suddenly i can not login to the admin panel by admin account. Other Admin accounts can not too. I tried to alter, delete the password by mySQL but it did not help. I would be very grateful for your help
Doug Brethower	Monday 05 July 2010 3:34:18 pm Welcome! Have not done this in a while, but may be worth a try. Temporarily disable the validation check on the password. Then anyone may login on any account by using any random password. 1) Edit the file 'kernel/classes/datatypes/ezuser/ezuser.php' 2) Search for the function 'authenticateHash' (Line 1468 in Exponential 4.3) 3) Add as the first line: return true; // no matter what, consider the password valid Then login as 'admin', change your password Do not forget to go back and reverse this edit afterwards ;~) Doug Brethower Apple Certified Technical Consultant, Southwest, MO USA http://share.ez.no/directory/companies/lakedata.net
Piotr Dziekanski	Tuesday 06 July 2010 1:02:09 am i already have try this method. dosent work (and sql changing password) i only go to page http://entropiaslowa.com/index.php?/site_admin/userpaex/password/14 and cant log in on any profiels (3 of them) just any password dosnt work any user account.. it happend sudenly didnt changed any settings
André R.	Tuesday 06 July 2010 7:05:57 am Try truncating your ezsession table, and if it helps setup cronjob to run bin/php/ezsessiongc.php once in a while (at night for instance). Sandra Parente	Wednesday 07 July 2010 1:03:12 am Did you activate some extra extension? ezmbpaex has by default the pwd expiration to 1 day, so if you activate it after one day you cannot log in anymore! Sandra Parente www.netbliss.it
david gue	Wednesday 18 August 2010 7:45:33 pm This is my first post on the boards after months of trying to get the registration to actually send me an authentication email so i can use these boards, im just glad my first post is to offer help rather than ask for it. I was having the same problem with one of my sites and remebered the only changes i had made were activate some extensions so i decided to deactivatethem and everything worked. As Sandra stated, in my case, the culprit was ezmbpaex. If you are experiencing this issue try disabling it buy doing the following, go to settings/override/site.ini.append.php. under [ExtensionsSettings] remove the extention ActiveExtensions[]=ezmbpaex. save the file, if working with dreamweaver like me be sure to "put" back the file to the server. try the login once again and it may work.
