We are upgrading our server and currently have Exponential version 3.3.4 on our server. To upgrade to the latest version of Exponential, we'll have to install our current version of Exponential, which is 3.3.4 on the new box. We will be running Windows Server 2003. I can't find Apache 1.3 for Windows anywhere, so I'm wondering if I can just start with Apache 2.2 with Exponential 3.3.4. Thanks.

To run php 4 with Apache 2.2 on windows you need to grab an extra dll from http://www.apachelounge.com/ - the standard php distro only includes the dll that will work with apache 2.0 (sapi/php4apache2.dll).

I usually grab the file http://www.apachelounge.com/download/mods/php4apache2.dll-php4.4.x.zip and save it in sapi dir with the name php4apache22.dll.

If you do not like to mix dlls coming from different sources you can still download apache 2.0.63 from http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi. It should run with php4 out of the box.
